Expect this 2020 vintage of our estate Sangiovese to be a bit heavier than the 2019 vintage. Sangiovese is Italy’s most planted grape and the key variety in Tuscan’s renowned Chianti. Sangiovese is also derived from the Latin phrase Sanguis Jovis. This translates to the "Blood of Jupiter". From Roman mythology, Jupiter was a bringer of light and the ruler of the sky. This gently oaked wine has aromas of oregano and espresso. Mouthwatering flavors of cherry, roasted tomato and sweet balsamic in this gently oaked wine. Enjoy this medium body, mid tannin wine with, pizza, pasta or garlic herb vegetables and tomato dishes.
